For those of you who don't know me, I LOVE learning. I try to take at least three classes a year and in general at least two are photography related. When I sat down in late 2020 to review my business plan for the coming year, I knew that I wanted one of my goals to be completing more films. I have taken a few classes and made a handful of films, but my struggle was trying to find the perfect balance of film and still photos that would provide the best experience for my clients. So when I saw there was a class focused on just that I jumped at the chance!
The first assignment was to find our model family and I knew that I wanted to gift this session and give back to a family of first responders. I was beyond excited when Becky emailed me! Becky's husband is a law enforcement officer and she is a nurse so I couldn't imagine a more perfect family for this experience. The weather was clear and brisk (I think it was barely 50 degrees) but we just kept moving and snuggling! I am so grateful to this family for their community work and for agreeing to let me share my experience with them.
