I had a fabulous session last weekend with the Rivera family and I was so excited when they chose to add on a film! It's always such a treat when I have the privilege of working with such a happy family. These three children have the biggest personalities which makes them just a joy to document. Some children just deliver one picture perfect smile easily and right away, but others offer a million different expressions that keep me on my toes (I think you can guess which category these guys fall under.) I always tell my clients that I don't keep a timer on our sessions and this one went straight on until dark - and even though I have the bug bites to prove it, it was so worth it! When I deliver a film, I include some viewing instructions for the family. All of my family films are delivered through Vimeo. From there, you can download your film and share it. One of my FAVORITE things about Vimeo is that it has an Apple TV/Google Play/Roku app. Before I deliver a film, I pull it up on the big screen and view it through the app and every time I think THIS is how these films should be viewed. Typing in "Maggie Martin" in the search bar will bring you to my channel where all of my films are stored. I also always suggest waiting until you can gather the whole family to watch your film together for the first time.
I'm proud to say that I have my shooting flow down to a science - it truly does only add minutes to your total session time! If you're interested in adding a film to your family session this fall, please let me know ASAP as I will only be able to offer a limited number during this busy season.
